Michael Waxman
AI-native product executive.
Fifteen years shipping product across healthcare, cannabis, defense, SaaS, and fintech. Most recently I ran the largest revenue line at a telehealth platform as Director of Product: the P&L, three 0-to-1 launches, and a 20-engineer org across two countries. Before that I co-founded a company and built it to 100 people. I ship with AI agents in production — not in slide decks.

What I’m doing right now
Interviewing for my next product role
Staff or Principal PM through Director and Head of Product, remote — title tracks org size, not scope. A Director in a bootstrapped startup and a Staff PM in a big org are the same job. Strongest fit: regulated markets, platform and subscription businesses, and teams that want to become AI-native rather than talk about it.
Advising Rishi
The cannabis-tech company I co-founded in 2021 and scaled to 100 people across three states. I moved to an advisory seat in 2024.
Running ENCTB / Revenge Baseball
The 501(c)(3) youth baseball nonprofit I founded — 50+ athletes across 12 counties in Eastern NC, run with the same systems discipline as a product org.
Building with agents daily
Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, MCP servers, and my own automation pipelines. This site — and the analytics that tell me you're reading it — are agent-built.

03 — How I ship
The agent stack is real
Every product leader's resume says “AI” now. Here is what mine actually means: I design and run agentic development workflows in production, as the operating system for how my teams and I work.
01
MCP infrastructure
Built a multi-server MCP tooling environment integrating GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Metabase APIs, with reusable agent instructions.
02
Agentic pipelines
Agentic documentation workflows with branch and draft-PR change management — agents propose, humans approve, everything is auditable.
03
AI code-review gates
AI-assisted review gates and context-packing workflows in a production release process, raising quality without slowing the team.
04
Proof in production
This site, its recruiter-detecting analytics pipeline, and the automated system that runs my job search were all shipped with agents.

05 — Off the clock
Life on a sandbar
I live in Southern Shores, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina — a narrow strip of sand between the Currituck Sound and the Atlantic. I grew up in Maryland, spent time in Charlotte, and the coast stuck. My wife runs her own publishing business from home; we work remote a few rooms apart, with the dogs supervising.
Most of my time outside work goes to youth baseball — coaching, organizing, and building tools for the community. It’s where nearly all of my side projects come from. The rest is fishing, beach walks, and watching weather roll in off the water.

Hiring for a senior product role?
I’m interviewing now — Staff or Principal PM through Director and Head of Product, remote. The title depends on the org; the job is the same. If the problem involves regulated markets, platform or subscription businesses, or making a team AI-native, I want to hear about it.
